"Hey, don't I know you mister?"

Based on Sweeney Todd; the demon barber of Fleet street, of Lucy Barker, the dearly beloved of our once dear barber.

After seeing the most recent adaption I found myself most interested in the story of Lucy, in her beggar on the streets phase, and her ability to see deeply in to most matters (She was the only one who knew what they were doing before she even saw proof) and going out of her way to warn others of it.

Her tale truly reminded me of a Saint, continued tragedy after another, which lead me to think of the classic art styles they loved to use for painting Saints. tldr; My fire for Art Nouveau started here.

I put very likely too much time and effort in to this, I wanted it to be amazing. The 4 broken hearts down each side represent Hers, her Lovers', the pie maid, and the orphan's hearts all being broken in the movie. However the two high hearts represent their daughter's and the immigrant boy's hearts. Still intact as they steal off in to the night together.
The inner circle painting around Lucy is meant to represent multiple things, one part the moon over a hill (The kids leaving at night) and also stone partly as the climax of the movie took place in a stone heavy sewer and partly because of the time period was heavy in use of stone and brick.
And of course her neck, but no spoilers.

SO YEAH I WENT TOO FAR.
But darn it I loved making this. So complicated and different and interesting to do.
What didn't I practice making this? I even practiced restraint, I tried to do this as slowly and concisely as possible.
