Yeah he was gutted when he found out what Optimus had done, and he never got the chance to deal before the next crisis.

...damn, man. I can just see poor Ratchet collapsing like this the moment he stepped out of that groundbridge, knowing Optimus would never do the same...makes one wonder why he went through at all, given how close the two seem to be.
