It's a beautiful photo and I'm glad I got to see it - but I'm wondering why you submitted it to SquarePhotos (which is where I'm looking at it) - given it's not actually square (not even close...)

"...kind of close."??? There are thousands of groups for "not" square photos and relatively few active ones for actually square photos - why don't you crop it to make it square?

When I do a real square crop, it doesn't look square to me. The group's admin(s) obviously thought it was square enough to let in since it had to be approved.

Yes, they did didn't they? - perhaps they've just got sloppy because they're used to people reading the rules about submissions and actually only submitting square images.
