Another experiment! After making the Large Whomping Willow ornament, I decided that I wanted to try and incorporate more unique characteristics into the trunk and branches. I thought that I could maybe pull off a sort of Celtic knot look. It didn't turn out perfectly, but I really do love the overall idea. It was somewhat difficult to create. I had to use toothpicks to keep the holes open while I twisted the rest of the wire together, and they were constantly falling out!

Anyways, I will be continuing to experiment with this look and hopefully perfect it over time =] Enjoy!

Oh, and the beads used are more lovely Jade

The Tree of Life symbolizes spiritual growth and wisdom, strength, protection, and connectedness. It is a healthy model that inspires the spirit and encourages hope in all hearts.

These are delicate, wire wrapped pendants that should be handled with care. Some of the stones, glass, or shells used to create the tree can break if handled roughly.

This is lovely! I tip my hat off to you and your amazing jewelry! I just started to make my own wire tree pendants and it is so hard to keep the outer wire circular when I twist the tree together.

Haha, I am seriously tempted to buy one like this. I just really really like this one Cx

Aww thank you! It was hard for me at first too (sometimes it still is - wire has a way of tending to try to do what it wants xD), but I'm sure you'll get used to it in time =]

I'm glad you like this design! This is totally something I would wear, but I have a few things I want to change when I make the next one ;]

I imagined them to be a bit bigger than what it came out as LOL. My very first one was oddly misshapen, but I tried again and the second tree came out much better. Yes, wire tends to do what it wants xD. I kept stabbing my thumb

I hope I get used to it! I'd love to have my own pendant that's unique and gorgeous like a lot of the ones you make!

I just want to steal this one, haha! What kind of changes might you make?

Haha xD I was thinking of posting a comparison of the first few pendants I made to the ones I make now. My first couple were pretty terrible lol.

Oh my gosh lol, I literally stab myself with wire and tools ALL the time! Yesterday I poked something really sharp up under my fingernail... safe to say that wasn't a very pleasant experience >.<

Haha aww, well thank you =] I was thinking I would make the roots less... straight. They don't seem to exactly fit the style of the celtic knot, so I added the little curlies to fix it. I also want to make one off to the side with a moon! ^.^ I'm not sure if and when I'll get around to that though lol, hopefully soon. I just got a ton of new materials today that I want to play with first =3

You should! I'd love to see them.

Ugh, I stabbed myself pretty bad under the fingernail when I went through a huge sewing phase. Cx It hurt for the longest time.

You're welcome! I do like the curlies x3 I'd like to see the moon one if you do get around to making it! I'm sure it'd be gorgeous~

I actually made a different size tree today, and the beads I had bought yesterday didn't fit xD I was so frustrated about it, so I'm hoping to make smaller ones for those beads and get bigger beads for the tree x3

Of course! I'll post it when I do ^.^

Ohh I hate that! When my beads don't fit my wire, I mean lol. I've had some little tiny diamonds sitting around for a while now, wanting to be played with. But alas, I don't have wire small enough right now for them x_x Are you going to post pictures of any of them to your DA?

Yay!

Awe, I bet if you got ahold of wire small enough and used the diamonds it'd be so amazing! I'm hoping to post the pictures of my first complete one hopefully soon. But that probably won't  be for a while. D:
