''...into its massive? maw? Gaping jaws? O.o.
not to mention bullets entering the back of the throat, into the sifter, unarmored tissues of the beast cannot do it any good...being bipedal, its cerebral cortex at the back of the neck cannot have escaped harm...
Good ending to the huge troll!

Good picture, but couldn't you have picked a less cliche title? And why do I get a sneaking suspicion that you might've borrowed a couple of things from The Fellowship of the Ring? At least in the story, you included the fact that she had suffered injuries, instead of getting away unscathed; good realism.

Thank you, and yes, trying to think of titles can be a bit cliche, but thats the fun of it. As for borrowing from LOTR's, it all comes down to where can you shoot something that big, with a 9mm and make it effective?

I was referring to the part where Legolas killed that cave troll by shooting an arrow into its mouth or throat, I never can tell which it is.

I know the scene, it very clean watching it in blu-ray, the arrow enters its mouth and the tip pokes out of the top of its head...brain shot.

Thank you, I was worried about this one, since I photoshopped the muzzle flash and well..not sure about bleeding wounds either. Big thing about this, I finished the render, everything looked right, then I remembered that I forgot the 9mm casting. So went back added the gun casting and rendered all over again.

Just as a note, you can render just a portion of a scene.
