400pts is far too cheap
Underpriced adopts ruin adopt sales for everyone

Designs on this base are rather sought after and can sell for around 1500pts these are good designs as well and by selling them cheap you are NOT doing anyone favour you are only making people expect less for what should be more and you are causing people to lose money as well as accepting less than the minimum wage for your work

But they're also allowed to do whatever they want because that's how economics work :0

... I kind of realise that.
They can do whatever they want but what they can do is irrelevant
What they should do is different
They should respect the time they spent and they should respect other artists by selling it from what it's worth

I notice you undervalue your own artwork too.
You, and no one else, need to go and tell other people how
to spend their own effort and their own time with their
pricing. Sure they could have sold this design for higher,
but they chose not to. What the artist wants to charge
is up to them, and honestly, in the long run, they'll make
more money by charging lower than their competitors,
because more people will be interested in their high
quality designs at lower rates, and if it is base work then
they will not have to spend as much time designing.
Unfortunately adoptables are both a luxury and a Veblen
good. It's the reason popular artists can spend an hour
on a design and still make $100 on that one design, while
someone like you or me may spend hours on our designs,
hoping for at least $5, but having to settle for less.
It's a little depressing to see someone go out and tell someone
what they're doing is wrong, especially when adoptables
are a competitive market. Perhaps they will begin to charge more
but if they're happy doing this, is it no one's right to talk down to them,
even if you have their best intentions.
