Description Just an attempt at a realistic Dragonite I did while I was really bored today. I think the chain of thought that lead to it was.. I doodled a Dragonair head, then was thinking about how different Dragonite looks and wondering how it could be a plausible evolution, then started out drawing one as a fat snake with legs and ended up redoing it based off a monitor lizard (which are rather closely related to snakes so it makes sense).

I can imagine it swimming really well but I still dunno how it flies with those wings. Whatever, PokΓ©science.

Looks a lot like the Gen 1 dragonite. Great job!

I love this! Also, Dragonites can only fly short distances with those tiny wings. They showed that with the messenger Dragonite in the first movie, it was delivering things for Mewtwo.

Could you please tell me what program you used to make the background transparent?

I know Photoplus allows you to use transparent backgrounds but they save as DOC files and deviantart wont let me upload any of those

I've never heard of Photoplus, so I can't help there, but when I save stuff with transparencies it's always as a PNG in Photoshop.

A fat snake with limbs! Very clever way of tying it to dragonair! Though I also don't know about those wings... Two arms, two legs and two wings mean six limbs, which isn't exactly a vertebrate thing! But I love how this looks like a lizard. The feelers are probably my favourite part. It's also cool how you gave it that docile look dragonite has. I'd bet that'd be pretty tough, considering reptiles usually don't give that feeling.
