Yeah, it seems they have an issue with shipping costs outside of the US (they do have several international sites but I'm not sure how each of those handles it, I don't think they have one in your area according to your profile
But, it takes about 4 months for a prototype and if they accept it with no changes needed, maybe another 4 months until production... so you could save up if you really want to

How much will the the Rainbow and Red Knee cost onece they go into production?

It depends on the size they choose to make, and the complexity of the pattern. Normal size is 15 inches tall and about $40, while mini size is 7 inches and about $19.
Also I don't think the redknee has a chance of winning at this point as it's had a very median score for the whole week, but the rainbow jumper is still poking the goal repeatedly Β

IT'S VERY LIKELY, I'm literally a couple tenths of a point away from goal at the moment. I've actually hit the winning average or gone over it once or twice a day, but it keeps sneaking back down that tenth of a point and I have to have a 3.9 by July 11, 11:59pm EST to actually win fffffffttt

When you say cute realistic, for me cute is not a word to use, since realistic spider stuff starts getting creepy for me. I will say that these are a nice design. I would vote 5 for them.

Aw, they're really not creepy though! They're shy, harmless, extremely helpful animals with a super fascinating and unique biology! No other animal utilizes silk in the way that they do, especially none that spin intricate webs like orb-weaving spiders can, and I honestly can't think of many animals that come in nearly the variety of colors that spiders do (a literal rainbow.) Plus a lot of them are really fluffy
I mean, if you compare them to other arthropods that people usually find cute or pretty like dragonflies, mantids, moths, etc, how are spiders really any different?

Well, I've just never liked insects in general, except maybe a few,Β but it usually is arachnids. I don't really find spiders revolting, since I know they are a vital part of the ecosystem. I just find them kind of creepy. I use to own tarantulas as a kid, but my mom once spooked me real good with a shed skin of our tarantula, and that may have helped spark a fear. One thing I can't stand is seeing a real close up picture of a spider's face. I keep feeling it's gonna pop out of the page and attack me. I do like cartoony spiders though, like Joltik and Galvantula, but if I saw real world versions of them I'd freak out. As long as they're not in my house and not bothering me, I leave them alone.
