Description
All of the realistic versions I've seen of Zubat so far depict it as a cute, relatively normal bat, sometimes even with eyes and/or feet. I decided to make my version something more befitting it's #1 Most Irritating PokΓ©mon Ever status. I probably could have given it battier wings, but insect wings were more interesting (plus Crobat's anatomy makes a bit more sense then.)in before BATS AREN'T BUGS!!

I can imagine it as some sort off off-branch of vertebrates that arose from jawless fish not to dissimilar from Lampreys. They became fliers, modified some cartilage struts into grasping organs, while another series of cartilage struts developed into wings. The 'ears' are modified gills, and the fur is similar to the 'fur' found on insects

Ugh I agree about Zubat being the most irritating Pokemon ever, but holy crap that lamprey mouth totally redeems it ;u; I'd actually train one of those, I think!

Whoa. That mouth. Ohh, that mouth. I've seen a lot of realistic zubats done, but never with the killer leech mouth of DOOM like this one.
You may not think this one's cute but I find it to be snuggly and blue and furry, kind of like... ...like Grover. Yeah, the killer Grover bat with the leech mouth of DOOM.

This is possibly one of the best realistic takes on Zubat that I've ever seen. Really love the detail you put into the wings. And the teeth... my god, those teeth! I would NOT want to encounter that thing in a dark alley-err, cave.

Good idea there. However, I would have to disagree with you on the "most annoying Pokemon" thing. I would say that dubious honor goes to the Bidoof and Rattata lines. Those damn things are everywhere.

Ew it's even more strange now XD I hate seeing those things in caves, even though I love bats IRL. The mouth is creepy but I think it fits. It looks like a leech's mouth, which really goes with the bloodsucking and all <3
