ZOMG, finally, DONE. My very first pure, 100% paintbrush styled drawing. Yep that means no lineart used =w=Well ANW, this' a scene from a manga project I'm working on, okay? So it's not just some random stuff I drew to satisfy my distressed-boy-all-tied-up-with-slimy-vines-and-mud obsession. Or....maybe it is. But still it's not random.
Everything was done in SAI with my newly learnt pure quickpaint method. Including the leaves.....which HURTS my hands VERY WELL. >.<
The actual scene is actually much simpler than this, I thought I can finish it very fast....but working in a new style gave me the temptation to keep adding this and this, creating this....unpredicted mess of details
As my first pure paintbrush drawing, I'm very aware that there's still many flaws around. I still need lots to improve, so I really expect comebacks
. Perhaps I'll add the critiques request soon...One thing I surely NEED to improve is to draw in bigger resolution >.>
The character shown is Rad, my OC. I'm the only one who can mess him up kay

Dude, Raden. Thanks to this pic now, I've totally got this mental image of us--all decked out in awesome clothes--hiking in an evil forest and getting ensnared by vines from hell...and THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. XD
You're in your favorite questing gear and sporting badass boots. I'm wearing my cutoff gloves, flight jacket or baseball cap (on backwards, naturally)...and sweatshirt tied around the waist, since that's probably my trademark. Maybe throw on my leather jacket or flight jacket on top for good measure.
While we're struggling like the adventurous boys in distress we are, you're screaming at the top of your lungs and I'm getting gagged by the blasted things, since I'm ALWAYS gagged by evil stuff. It's like, a rule of adventuring or something.
Or hey, we can just skip out on the whole forest thing, and go around acting like reckless heroes and getting into sticky situations with random baddies. Whatever works. XD
