Description The next in my line of pencil sketches inspired by Christopher Hart. I've recently joined a lot of groups and one is specifically for Cap, but I only had one piece of artwork devoted to him! So, here we are! This pose was inspired by a cool scarab-based hero in Hart's comic anatomy book and I saw an opportunity for more shading practice, plus it's just a cool action shot! Like Thor's hammer, Cap's shield got a little wonky, but in the original outline the shield was on the other arm and I had to adlib this one since I had run out of space to work with, but I can always fix it later. Enjoy!

Yep. That looks pretty much like the Star-Spangled Avenger we all know and love. I should use this for inking practice.

Thank you very much! It was based off of a picture in a comic anatomy book, so I can't take complete credit, but the hardest thing to draw was that shield!!!!

This is a great pose of Cap! You're getting REALLY good at the shading detail as well. Superb job! Now it looks like I'll have two more to color once you trace 'em out! I may very well work on Spidey today. I've been playing a lot of Ultimate Alliance 2 lately and I actually really like Ice Man. So, I was wondering if maybe you could draw him sometime? It would be someone different than you've done.

I was thinking of doing a Silver Surfer pic and he's the same guy. I could do that and we could get two pictures out of one! I'd just have to do one with a board and the other with ice. I'm gonna try and get Kirby Dots down better, right now I'm shaky at it and need more understanding of their placement. Both of them would probably use those in their pictures (atleast Surfer). Sooner or later I'll get everything traced out...
