It's not very typical of me to post my penciled drawings here on DA. In fact, I use my twitter account to show them since I like to surprise DA people with my next piece. But based on my recent poll it seems you guys enjoy to see step-by-step processes so I figured... why not make an exception this time?

This is the penciled drawing for Goth Queen 3. In spirit of my favorite holiday, I plan to paint her in time/before for Halloween. (Yaaaaay, Halloweenie piccie!!! ) I really wanted to do a type of White-Queenish look for this piece, so I based her off of my Helene character .

If you've read her bio before, you'll know she's the mother of all werewolves. Normally, I post Gothy dark stuff. In this case, I really wanted to show a softer side of Helene with her holding a cub in her arms.

Because animals aren't my forte, lol, I tried to look for photos of cubs as reference and discovered this. WORLD, MEET BOB. [link]

I like the idea that the person who made this Goth Queen pic possible is an old, chubby guy named 'Bob' with yellow teeth and thick glasses. HE LOOKS JUST LIKE HELENE.

Anywho... onto the challenging stage of any work: color. O_O If you guys want to see more WIPs of this piece you can follow me at my twitter account under the username 'radiuszero'.
