Description
Easter was a inspiration for this small and quick picture. Lovely sunday morning outside the Jerusalem, some 2000 years ago.I want to paint this troubled land as it should be, the land of milk and honey. Thanks for any comments or critics.
Finished in some 6 hours( two evenings), done from scrach in PS CS 3 beta+wacom.

I've never been impressed by art related to Christ. There's so much of it, but nothing ever seems to capture me and true feelings from the artist. I don't know why, but it usually seems fake or stereotypical.
This piece, however, I feel I can relate to and that it derived from real emotion. It's modern, and not a copy of another's beliefs.

Seeing this art work has really comforted my heart somehow. I've been so troubled lately but this reminds me that Christ made the ultimate sacrifice... and no matter how hard things get, He's there for me, and will be forever.
