Who said that overcast days are bad for photography?If there's no sunrise ... get creative and use the good light and the bad sky to your advantage.
This is a 15 shot panorama stitched in CS4 Photomerge.

Depends on the complexity of the photograph.
In this case I had to stitch them manually.
The lighting and the detail in the individual shots was not enough for Photoshop to join them.
But usually, (if you are using the same settings -manual exposure- and you overlap the shots by 40%) the process goes smoothly.

This walls are in the middle of the beach. The tide comes out from nowhere and you find yourself stranded in no time.

That is really, really weird!
Seen from the air it also looks quite flimsy too! I'm surprised it's still standing, when you think of some of the storms we get battered by!

When I took the shot... there was no water there. Because of the tide, there was a warning not to venture too far.
So I guess is some kind of structure to break some imaginary waves...
I'll look into it and let you know.
