Actually, my first reaction was "Thundarr and Ariel!" Even the colors are reminiscent of those characters, and the woman's hair is that same oddly static oval Ariel's was. I love the draping. It's excellently done work, though I'm disturbed by the lack of anything positive it communicates about Mexicans or women, compared to the purely positive depiction of the titular gringo.

well it is, Rafael is a cover artist and let me tell you that he is one of the best in what he does, those comics are part of the popular culture here in Mexico, not as the greatest comic but as a tradition, many people read them and is nice that they have as cover this amazing art n_n

jejeje No linda el dibujo no es mio... pero es un pequeΓ±o comic mexicano que carece de publicidad.. creo que solo se ve en pequeΓ±as tiendas con revistas, y habla de Historias tipo del viejo oeste y sexo.. ntp el artista solo muestra su trabajo.. los comics los compran cierto numero de clientes que les agrada.. no es que lo pongan en espectaculares o cartelones en colonias o si?
