My 2009 Halloween costume!There's just something about undead serial killers that gets me all excited...is that wrong?
Anyhoo, this year I was a punky girl version of the Springwood Slasher, Freddy Krueger (A Nightmare on Elm Street)! About four years ago, I was Michael Myers (Halloween). Which means one of these coming years, I'll have to find some way of doing a re-vamped version of Jason Voorhees (Friday the 13th).

I just recently got a DVD set of the first four movies and watched them all in a day.
I have to say out of all of the old school movie baddies, Freddy's by far my favorite. There's just something about the fact he infiltrates your dreams, a place that's supposed to be sacred and one's private place, and the claws and how he take an almost sexual pleasure to it that just captivates me.
It's probably just me though.

Oh no, my dear, it's not just you! lol! I love all the supernatural baddies, but Freddy and Jason are both my absolute favorites! I can't decide which I like more. The movie Freddy vs Jason was so bomb! Their final fight scene in the real world had me jumping around all over the couch routing for both of them!

I'm so happy to have the first 4 Nightmare on Elm Streets on DVD, I had myself a Freddy marathon and was one happy fangirl.
Freddy vs. Jason was pretty awesome, as was the new Friday the 13th. Hopefully the Nightmare remake will be as good!

True that! I was gonna add some prosthetic gashes across my face and drip some fake blood from them, but the sticky gum stuff was so uncomfortable when I tested it, and was a total b**ch to get off. So I scrapped that idea.
