This is extremely kewl! Might I ask where you obtained the barrel extension? Unlike many other mods, this one is well executed and looks like it was made that way to begin with. Well done!

Thanks, I really like the way it came out as well. I was the same as you and thought that there were too many repaints, and not enough mods of this gun. I really felt it needed an extended barrel. Seriously, thanks for the compliment.

Not to mention the heightened realism with the scope and matte finish. Most people go for quasi-metallic coats that end up looking too plastic. I think the realism could be even further improved with a rifle butt and an even longer barrel. Basically, turning it into a rifle.

Well, my opinion is if you're gonna make it look like a gun, make it look like a gun. I have yet to see sparkley guns anywhere on the street (although I do see them at gun shows from time to time).
Now a rifle might be a cool thing to see with this gun. I might have to take a look into that. If it works out, that could look really cool.

Thanks. I like the Longshot as is, but I thought just painting it would just look like a painted Longshot. LOL Adding the extended barrel helped it look better in my opinion.

Sorry, I thought you had mentioned the Longshot. LOL The maverick was born from an idea to make a cheap Hell Boy(ish) gun for a friend of mine who was doing a female version of HB. She never finished the costume, and I kept the gun. Win, win.

Yea, but at least the gun didn't go to waste. I'm sure i can convince one of my costuming buddies to do that costume eventually. And once you get one, you know others will be clamoring to do it so they can say they look better doing it. LOL

I'm actually generally opposed to it as a costume prop for the impractical size of the thing, but for a Hellboy piece it makes perfect sense ^_^
