New MOCs aside, today is still a Faffory instalment day! We see the return of a paranoid Avalanche, the mysterious awakening of Psystrike, and the ever-present antics of Niyyan and Spore. There are a few reasons why the 'fight' scene is so disappointingly short: firstly, panel limits combined with a lot of speech make for less action; secondly, I wanted to suggest that Avalanche's duelling skills are nothing compared to Psy's training; and thirdly, I dislike fighting scenes. Seems good enough for me.

Wow. Psystrike's pretty fast. How did he get up there before Niyyan? O.O
I'm glad the fighting was cut short before anyone got hurt. Still, I think it would have made more sense plot-wise if Avalanche was initially against going with the three but ended up catching up with them later, figuring he might as well since he has "a bone to pick with" Creator.
I really like the dynamic (is that the right word?) between Niyyan and Spore in these comics. They're practically siblings by now. ^_^

I'm just going to reply to this comment from May, to point out that you said the idea of death in Hero Faffory was "preposterous." Of course, much of Hero Faffory is preposterous too, so... I got nuthin.

At that point, I never planned for anybody to die; the intention was for our heroes to waltz through the final pages completely unscathed and successful in their every endeavour. But that'd be boring, wouldn't it? A Fred Weasley was needed somewhere.
