It does feel pretty gloomy. o.O
I really like the way the trees strengthen in clarity and stuff, if that makes sense?
It's pretty cool how it's all quite monochrome.. and I really like the way it feels cold, and yet not overly cold. In fact, I just get a feeling of intense oppression, or just... boredom, or misery.
That could just be me, though. It feels pretty desolate, even though there is a sort of life there. o.O

Thanks. It was a really neat experience being up there on the butte on a day like that. The whole landscape had that monochrome sort of feeling, it was sort of eerie but cool at the same time. The most interesting thing about it (for me anyway) was that there was not one speck of snow on the ground. All that white? It's just frost.

We used to see scenes like this all the time back when I lived in Vermont (USA). I loved how it looked.
