1. Pick a character, fandom, pairing, friendship, whatever.

2. Put on your music program on shuffle/random and start playing songs.

3. For each song, write something inspired by the song related to the theme you chose earlier. You only have the song length. No pre-planning and no writing after the song is over. No skipping songs either.

     The music blared through the speakers and the wind whipped through the open windows. The car vibrated as it sped steadily along the torn up road. Hair lashing our faces, we screamed every word. Angry and pissed at the world, we drove to the ends of the world, uncaring. Nothing else seemed to matter but the road ahead and each other's company.
     "Michael," He screamed, turning down the music.
     "Yeah?"
     "Pull over." I nodded, pulling off the empty road to the dirt beside the barren stretch of pavement. I shut off the engine, leaving the keys dangling and jingling in the ignition. The bracelets around my rearview mirror dangled, swinging lazily back and forth.
     "What do you want, Ashley?" I asked, pulling the sunglasses off my face. I ran my hand through my hair, ripping through a few knots I encountered. As my hand left my black curls, Ashley launched himself at me, throwing himself across the seat and into my lap. He kissed me angrily. Our teeth cut our lips, and our hands ripped out our hair. Filled with the anger from our music, we turned up the sound of the damned and continued to make each other bleed. Fueled by a strange bloodlust, we clashed teeth again, trying to swallow each other whole. Trying to become more than one.

Just Like I Remember by Bleed The Dream
     I sat drinking, squeezing my eyes tight against the pain of the alcohol burning a firey path down my throat. I tried to hold back the tears as I saw them. One by one. Their faces all reminded me of him. His beautiful brown tresses, and the way they curled. His smile, brighter than the sun, but as bashful and shy as a toddler hiding behind their mother. Letting a sob slip past my lips, I raised the bottle to my lips again, taking a long swig of the amber liquid. I prayed to the God that didn't exist to allow me to feel the bliss of forgetting him. I could remember the entire time I knew him, his entire life span. I had met him when he was a young lad, and watched as he grew into his twenties. Unfortunately, he had died, thinking too hard. He had been walking down the street, eyes cast to the ground, watching footfall after footfall upon the grimy London streets. He had been lost in thought, walking without a purpose, almost ambling around blindly.
Screaming, I pulled away from the memory. I didn't want to see him be shot and run down by a madman. I didn't want to see it anymore. God, please take it away. Pulling the bottle to my lips again, I downed as much of the poison as I could. With every burning second, I wished the liquid would have the same affect on me as it did on a human. A frail, fragile, breakable, beautiful, human. A scream tore from my throat as the bottle of liquid failed to do its job.

     Leaning over the railing, I lazily let the tears drip off my face. My body was too tired to let the gut-wrenching sobs from my frail figure fall past my lips to the rushing trains below. Shoving away from the railing, I shoved my hands in my pockets and walked down the cobblestones, trying not to think about what I had just witnessed. Turning my eyes back to the railing, I stepped closer to it. It's cold metal was calling to me tonight. The way the moon glistened off it's cold steel, brought my closer and closer to it. Grasping it again in my vice like grip, I closed my eyes and let the tears roll down my face again.
     Without a thought, I flung myself up onto the railing, standing. I looked down at the rushing trains below, flying past at break neck speeds. Their horns blared and their lights stayed strong. Letting out a sob, I turned my face to the unforgiving moon. I howled out my pain, ripping at my unusually colored locks. Ripping chunks out, I flung the offending handfuls to the monsters below. I prayed that the monsters would be satisfied with what I was offering. They had taken everything from me, everything but the empty shell standing up on the railing, screaming at the moon and the iron trains.
     "Why did you take him from me, you callous bastards!?" I screamed, choking on the word him. I could barely bring myself to think, let alone say his name. Shaking my head, I cleared the thoughts and everything else from my mind.
     Screaming, I flung myself to the monsters awaiting below, giving them what they desired. Flesh.

     "Fuck you!" I screamed at him, turning away. I angrily stormed away, walking away from the best thing that had ever happened to me. I was also leaving behind the worst thing that had ever been created on the planet earth. I would not give him any more satisfaction. I would not let him see my tears. I had gotten rid of the one sided relationship that I had been harboring for years. I ignored the screaming behind me. The words of how I was a coward and a pussy and a waste of life. I used the words as fuel as I sped towards home.
     Throwing open the front door, I stumbled breathlessly into my room. Picking up a pen, I began to scribble words down onto the page. The words were barely legible as they flew from my mind, to the pen, to land on paper. The ink splattered across the page, almost as if it were blood. Reminding me of my own blood, splattered across the walls. Angrily scratching out words, I sprawled new ones, liking the sound of them better.
     "What are you doing?" I heard someone shout from the house. The house I was no longer in. I was in my own world, seeing, breathing, and living music. Remotely, I could see myself screaming the lyrics and crying angrily as I hurried to get them all down on the page. The ink was running and the tears were pooling. I kept on with my pace.
     "Here is your-" I choked on the last word, collapsing against my desk to fall into sobs.

     Laughing, I fell over on the couch. I could hear your voice in the background, leaving me another message. Giggling, I reached for the bottle on the table. Taking a swallow, I flung myself unsteadily to my feet. Stumbling to the machine, I played back the message.
     "What's your problem? Why the hell aren't you picking up? I can hear you laughing in there. The lights are on-" the message was interrupted by loud screaming and pounding at the door. I looked through the peep hole and giggled. You screamed in frustration and walked away. Stumbling back to the couch, I began to forget about you. Then I heard your voice floating up to me from the street. Instead of sitting on the couch, I managed my way to the window. You were down there screaming at me.
     "Lyndon, open up the god damned door." He screamed, unsteady on his feet.
     "Go home, James." I yelled back.
     "You're in my home. Where the hell am I supposed to go? I don't even have my keys to my car." I turned around, grabbing the keys off the table. I dangled them, jingling them. I tossed them into the street. I had taken the key to the apartment off earlier, before I had gone out and gotten drunk with my friends.
     "What the fuck!?" He slurred at me. I ducked back inside, feeling the alcohol leaving quickly. God damned drunken bastard. Coming home at two in the fucking morning with another man almost every night. And I'm his fucking boyfriend. I'm definitely done. I grabbed the records he "liked" so much. Hauling it up, I walked back to the window, almost completely sober.
     "Here's the fuck, you whore." I threw a record down at him, reveling in the childish joy I felt as it hit him. The next one landed at his feet, shattering instantly. I began to pelt him with his records and the year of dust that had collected on them. Angry, I upended the box and threw it into the street.
     "Come back in an hour, the rest of your shit will be there too." I screamed, closing the window. I went back to the comedy show that I had missed while you had been here. The one you insisted was for idiots and losers. Well this idiot enjoys it.
