yeah, i can't really make out the girl. it does look like a hand with a ball of hair and rose. but i love the victorian feel it has. wonderful.

i think it's finished so i'm going to judge it as such. my mind works strangely but something i see other than a girl with a flower in her hair, is i see a hand holding a ball of hair, a string, and a rose. i think the lighting may be alittle heavy and direct. might want to try something softer. but what does work extremely well in regards to subject is the flower pattern under her and how it compares to the flower in her hair. since i've started going to art classes i feel that i can say things like this: the horizontal lines of the clothing strap and the arm and some shadows that lead to the flower and the hair which goes around in circles and also meets with the vertical lines of the bed and the shadow on the arm all lead the viewer's eye around the picture so well that i wish i weren't looking at a computer screen. i think that this picture is very emotional and well done. there is a sudtle (sp?) sadness about it caused by the tone of the color and the perspective. your talented and i love this.

there's a strange reflection in her hair, strangle the reflection and darken her skin just a smidge and you have a perfect beuty with a rose in her hair
