For a while, I was starting to think I might be the second row of panels, because despite my love of movies/games/books/music, my reviews almost always seem to range from "bleh" to "meh" to "good-ish," with a few "good" in there. Β But every once in a great while, I find something that drags a strong AND positive reaction out of me, and I realize I'm not starting to hate entertainment, I'm just waiting for something special to come along.

I think we all go through that phase, just shoving our opinions down the internet's throat in order to mask the truth that we can't enjoy anything anymore. We put it all on Tumblr.

I'm mostly the later. heck, in an Anime binge, I found Gundam Age to be SO Awful that when I realized I spent a good half a year or so watching it as it aired, I became depressed for a month. being forced to watch Evangelion with a friend afterwards made things worse.
the best remedy to this though is to find something SO enjoyable that you go 180.
GaoGaiGar is such an anime. it's basically the Opposite of Evangelion. and so hot-blooded that you CAN'T not feel hotblooded yourself for at least a few days after watching
