Commission for Sawolf151 on FA I completed about a month back.Sorry about the lack of activity here. I've been doing a lot of quick-paintings and sketches lately and not a lot of fully finished work.

Well I do know that often times (as one person did), whenever someone would add credit, they would remove it, saying that "it gave too much attention to specific people, instead of making the art about the community" or some bullshit.

Yeah it's pretty bullshit. I did get one dude to delete his account after he repeatedly did that, and I reported TONS of unsourced artwork to the people whose art he had reposted sans credit.

Thank you very much, and it was painted in Sai and I did some final adjustments in Photoshop (brightness/contrast stuff).

I also do use SAI, and I think it's definetly a handy program!

Oh it's a great little program and capable of all sorts of things, though it does lack in a few areas but photoshop compliments it well. I prefer to do my detailing and painting in Sai over photoshop for the way the brushes handle, it feels a bit more "organic" or more like actual paint which I enjoy. I tend to use PS for laying down groundwork textures with gritty brushes (and their customization abilities) and for final touches due to it's superior manipulation abilities.Β

I know what you mean. I have tried using Ps before, but I just like the easy platform of SAI more so because it seems to get the job done well for amateurs like me. But there are pros and cons with every program out there, Photoshop has more brushes and textures and editing material in which SAI lacks. Either way, they are both great programs to use!
