Steel and concrete build directly into the grey mountains towering above the ancient city of Qunulupaqu, these shipyards is the most visible scars of an alien occupation that Arikawell still has. Originally meant as a way for the Kezaren to exploit cheap labor, these shipyards are now the beating heart of Piokian industry and space conquest. 85% of all planetary-build spaceships have been build at these yards, since the first workshops started operating.

The city itself is a very polluted and poverty-stricken place, in stark contrast to the rather pristine nature and high-tech cities that dominate the rest of the planet. Even from planetary orbit, the brown clouds that the city produces are easily spotted. This has formed the citizens into hardy people that often leads a life of: Work hard, Die young. Still, there’s a sense of strong comradery and unison among the populace, and underneath the filth, a kind heart willing to offer a bed for the night, however broken it may be.
