As a side note, it's also more than 2 years old! If I were to redo this comic, I would have definitely made a few changes.

This would make an awesome story, I bet even the main six have their own little imperfections. Love to know them, would make them just that little more believable.

i think we have allready have seen some of their imperfections.
applejack is a workaholic, and believes she can do anything.
rainbow dash is arrogant and a hot head.
twilight sparkle is obessed with perfektion and being graded.
rarity is a snob
fluttershy is a doormat, and have trouble speaking for herself.
and pinky pie thinks that the world is a party and can't deal with sadness.
just to name a few.

that is a fair point, and besides pinkie pie's issue, I'm was implying them having something more serious that the little quirks that we already know and love. maybe thing that they saw or have done that haunts them. e.g. fluttershy maybe failed to save a animals life, that rarity bullied at school to fit in with the more 'sophisticated' students, or that rainbow dash failed to do her job one and caused a lot of trouble/damage to some pony(s) livelihood.
small things that would have helped them learn the importance of their elements.
That's more of what I thought, though your reply is appreciated, and please give your opinion on this though.

let me start out by saying that i haven't been keeping up to date with that newest episodes. my interesset has kinda dwindled. i finde it more fascinating, and sometimes disturbing, to see what the fanbase comes up with. i am just saying this so you know what my reference points are.
but to as answer to what you were talking about, that you wanted an episode where the main six understand the mening of their elemets througn their failings. such an episode has already been made. The Cutie Mark Chronicles s1 e23. where we hear the stories about how that earned their marks,a dn what heartships they had to overcome and what lessons they had to learn.
i do understand where you are comming from though. you wanna see a more serious take on it all. but keeping in tone with the show, i dont think that is gonna happen. not hat you can't tale stories like that i cartoons, just look at the legend og korra, or Pixars UP for that matter. but i don't think it would happen i mlp fim.

why not? they showed Babs seed (Apple Bloom's cousin) bullying the CMC. and during the series 5 final you see versions of them in various dystopian realities, and in some they were disfigured and RD was missing a wing. I sure that its not much of a leap to what I'm thinking, but none the less it's a fair point certain things they would allude to like death, so my suggestion on fluttershy's care failing to save would be a bit strong... maybe it became a problem animal, feral or something.
Despite all of this, I don't won't to appear argue mental, and I have appreciated your replies, maybe if your bored and have the time you could spring another topic on me, regardless thanks for your reply again.

Mad God? Psh! the first thing I think of when here that is a bearded old man with crazy eyes sitting in a chair, he has an evil locked inside but he doesn't like to talk about it. Speaking of talking most of what he says is crazy nonsense and puns... I feel like a geek.
