Well, with Blender 2.8 doing away with the really handy texture setup in the internal render, guess I'll have to learn that node business sooner or later, so I grabbed a victim with the most easy to set-up textures (or so I thought, because what could be done with a few clicks and sliders in the internal render turned into an epic odyssey of looking through two video tutorials, trying to replicate both their setups, getting wrong results for both, then separating two meshes and making it work with a completely different, much easier setup). Replicated the pose from the trademission image (imgur.com/9EMcYJy ), except with clothes on.
