I'm gonna have to enthusiastically echo Ludi. The texture work on this picture is simply awe-inspiring. *jealosy* . The drawing itself ain't too shabby either. Great job, Randi

WTF, are you crazy? This is freakin' GOOD! I can't believe how much your skillz have leapt forward between this picture and your last! Just...amazing work on the lighting, shading and the texture - particularly on the wooden planks. It looks so real you could reach out and touch it. I do think the tree leaves look slightly weird and psychedelic, but on the whole this is a great piece of composition. Only gripe with the guy is that his legs seem too short, especially below the knees. Otherwise ...whoa, randi, I'm impressed!

Yeah, once I read what you said about the legs... then I saw it. ~_~oooo oops! The leaves. I wanted a little bit of a 'fantasy' feel to it. It's part of the theme of his innocence being behind him... and since I think innocence is a bit of a fantasy thing to begin with.... I tried to make the apple tree reflect that somewhat. The wood planks.... I drew them one plank at a time, rather than drawing the whole shed and filling in with coloring and such. I drew the planks, altered the color from each one little by little, and used the 'wood texture' on them. Even then I added shading and stuffs.. but I think the real deal-maker of the shed was in 'building' it one plank at a time. I got lazy when I got to the roof of it though. lolol. ~_~oooo Thanks sooo much!

LOL... I find it cool that you made the shed as if building a real one...
