Did this for a contest where the theme was Zelda meets the 21st Century. Alot of ideas came up for that theme, some of which I may draw later (how many times have you heard that from me). But ultimately, this is the one that won. Let me tell you, had a lot of fun with this one. The original idea was to just be Link Zelda and Groose. But as I drew, I felt that I couldn't leave Pipit and Karane out. Then with them, it seemed that Stritch and Cawlin would add more dept to the pic. And finally I felt that since I put all the other students in there, I just couldn't leave out Fledge. Very please with how this came out. I feel must apologies to the Groose fans (myself included), as I wanted him to look much better than he does here but because of where he wound up being in the picture, he suffered. Every time I was doing something (color, shading, lighting) Groose was last on the list, and because of that, I was always tired when I got to him and ready to move on to the next step. (By the way, Stritch is reading about bugs, I forgot to write that on the book)

Artist's Note: I went back to alot of my old techniques to do this because I felt that my last couple of pictures have been suffering from my new speed techniques. This, of course, meant this pic took a lot longer to do (A couple days short of a week) but I'm incredibly happy with it so I say it was worth it. I had to practically force myself not to use soft shading. I prefer cel-shading as I like anime style, but I often times find myself clicking that blur tool because I've gotten so much better at it. One of these days, all shadings will not be segregated, and allowed to coexist happily in my drawings... maybe.
