So I based her abilities somewhat off Natume Takashi in that she can see the unseen (But not only yokai this could be ghosts etc - and the things they make)
That little cute black thing by her side is a thing I made up (based off a name i know)
they're collectively called Aislings (Ash-lings) which literally means "dream or vision" and is also a poetic genre from the 17th and 18th centry (However, the 20th century made it into a name). these things are usally females... And I made it so they are very young child spirits of children who die under 5 years old. This one, Fern, usually hangs around Hazel as Fern used to be her big sister by two years. Fern can be a little irritating, and she can't speak, but her and Hazel get along well. Hazel herself is a ball of sass, but typically goes with the flow. she's 17, moved away from her Aunt asap, her eye covered emo-ishly by her hair is where she is blind; however, she can still see the unseen and their creations with that eye, just not normal things.
P.s i feel like hazel would be a bit sans-like in nature

1: What’s your OC’s biggest insecurity and how would they react if someone pointed it out to them?
one of Hazel's biggest insecurities would either be her power, or how it makes her seem (pretty cray) and how she can't do anything about it but live with it, she would probably playfully sass the person, but feel really hurt, however, she somewhat lurns to live with this.
Fern doesn't like being so invisible; and how she can't talk and can hardly interact, she becomes really angry if someone brings this up.

2: If your OC wants to buy a firearm, what it might be for?
Hazel: is there are firearm to kill yokai or already dead things? that'd be useful. But on the other hand... I'd feel pretty baddass with a cool firearm

3: Does your OC behave differently around different people, if so with whom and how?
Hazel:
unseen: pretty irritable sometimes, but is kinda chitty chatty, that or she'll avoid them - for obvious reasons
friendly people: will probably withdraw herself in fear of them deciding they don't like her as much.
unfriendly/other: ranges from slightly sass to sass lord because she's unsure.
Fern:
can only be seen by other unseen and Hazel, she's friendly enough but has a raging temper. Somewhat protective of Hazel.

4: Would your OC want to involve themselves in humanitarian work ? If yes, then for what? If not, then why not?
Hazel: sounds like hard work
Fern: *SHRUG*

Hazel: SALTY SASS LORD/ ignores them depending on who they are but will feel upset

Hazel: Somewhat, she is witty in her replies, but has average academic intelligence - she would say she's pretty smart
Fern: since she died at 5, she doesn't have much academic intelligence, but following Hazel made her more wise

their parents were really old-fashioned farmers, Hazel doesn't really remember much about them; they died when Fern did. However, Her Aunt and uncle were okay people, but would put a lot of pressure on her, which is why she moved out as soon as possible. She still calls in now and then, but has always been quite reserved towards them; and learned to not tell them about the issues she had

Hazelue to feeling so much pressure living with her Aunt and Uncle, she's more mellow and doesn't care as much about what happens to her; she's irresponsible. However, she does feel pressured when it comes to the unseen
