I read once that recognizing a "likeness to a form" was the beginning of art in us primates, a crack on the cave wall drawn painted to be a bisons back, that kind of thing. Love this one, where do you get driftwood in CO? (duh, I guess you have rivers and such XD

This one was actually 'near' a river, but more under a tree so technically it wouldn't be considered driftwood.
I've found some amazing pieces on the rivers though. I've got this staff that I'm going to eventually carve which was chewed on one end by a beaver. It's super heavy and strong and has the perfect taper.
Can't wait to tear in to it.
