Alright! So I was commissioned to do this again and I am so happy with how it came out, holy shit!

First of all, thank you everyone who came to my join.me streams and watched me work on this, I really appreciated your company!

The process of this drawing was interesting as it somehow came up in the Saber Club thread over on Wajas. Tickout and myself started organizing and making a list of people who wanted to be in it toward the beginning of June. Eventually it became what characters in it. As it started to get up into the 30's I realized that I had to close it because I had a couple other people who hadn't gotten back to me about their characters yet. Not only did I realize that, but I also knew I would have to do something other than a giant dog pile.

I tried to get everyone from the old drawing in this one but one player declined the offer and another never replied back to my PM. However, I was able to get everyone else in it. Some people picked different characters to be in it, some kept with the same characters.

I was slow with the whole drawing process, getting several sketches down between other drawings I was doing. Just a couple days ago I realized that the old drawing was becoming a year old and I put my butt into gear, using a motivation of getting this done by July 1st. I was able to finish it with half an hour to spare.

This set up came out very nicely. I was able to split all the characters into 6 groups depending on their location in the drawing. I think that made it easier to handle even though I did the usual process of sketch, line, color, and shade at the exact same time for all of them. Every sketch I made was resized. I would make the sketch in the middle of the page then resize and reposition the individual character sketches until everyone could be seen and they looked about the right size for their position on the piece.

For lining the piece, I changed the size of the brush from 25px on the front four characters in the bottom right to 7px for the flying characters along the back. I half think that I could have resized the line art instead of the sketch however since Photoshop is a rastor program I didn't trust it and instead drew the line art over the already resized sketches.

In the entirety of this drawing, I have to say I love how Grave came out (the character on the left side right beneath the pond, appearing to be chewing his own leg). Ever since I sketched him I thought he was looking good although the line art made me wary but it was saved by great coloring and shading. Overall I'm very happy with the poses and expressions of quite a few characters.

Confession time(what I don't like, what I wish I had done):
I wish I had made more varying poses and expressions. So many have that happy blank stare and I wish I had enough thought to change them. I don't believe it deters from the drawing as a whole, however.
I also don't exactly like the line art, mostly with the bottom right characters because of how thick it is. Yes, it gives the effect that they're closer to the viewer but it seems much too thick on the tea pot and the antlers.
I wish I had added more pears and random things throughout the drawing but I couldn't think of anything else to drop in.

I can't say how long it took me but I'm going to take a guess at how many layers I used.
