Description
This was a birthday gift for my mother in law (Evee's grandma!) but I had to share. I used a photo reference, and it's graphite on top of a red pencil undersketch. I'm really happy with how it came out.This girl is so much fun, and growing so fast. Not like, actually getting big… she's kind of a petite little girl. But she is smart and has a ton of willpower. She's already crawling and using everything around her to stand up. My life is baby proofing right now.
I decided not to post a bunch of personal pictures on my DA account, but this is a fun way to share my baby girl. <3

I've been checking up on your art ever since my old account and I remember reading about your pregnancy and then Evelyn's birth and seeing her picture... and it feels like it was just yesterday! It's so weird how you can get connected to people so far away, but I feel like I know you guys. Evelyn is absolutely beautiful. *-*

It does feel like yesterday. And at the same time there's been so much happening. It's like living in a time warp that's for sure. She's going to be nine months this week! HOW?
It's funny how you can feel connected like that isn't it? I love it though. So far this Deviantart community has been really wonderfully fun, positive, and caring. Not an easy thing to find on the internet. I love sharing stories with people when we connect over art or life or whatever. I'm glad I've got lovely people like you watching and commenting.
