Made these up while brainstorming for a project with a friend. It started with just the mechanic girl (which was a prototype for the protagonist of our story), and then I started imagining what regular citizens of her people might look like. From left to right I imagined them to be a mechanic, a village elder, a manual laborer, and a random mischievous kid playing with his sister. (that's a bug he's holding)Colors of the kids' clothing weren't done yet, and I never came around to doing those because I was am lazy like that.
Hmm... after about 6 months I realize the proportions of the man in the middle are awkward. Ah well, no use fixing it now.

Ooh, cool design you got there! I feel as though most people who design a fantasy race just go for an anthropomorphic animal of some sort. This is much more original.
