Man, these Grimm-morph are quite awesome. However, there is one thing I noticed, which can get people upset or stuff: So far, I´ve only seen two of your Grimm-morph OCs, and both were easily accepted by those around them, despite looking like a Grimm.
Anyway, two of my OCs, Argent Star and Talia Star, were home-schooled at first, too. I mean, they were too young to attend a primary combat school or be left home alone, and the mayor of their village didn´t want their parents, Eis and Swara Star, to practice combat within the village. So, being the responcible parents they are, Eis and Swara Star taught their kids how to fight Grimm so they could join them on their training trips without their parents having to look out for them.
Argent Star is a snake faunus and leader of team ANST. He is usually a nice guy who prefers to solve his problems with words rather than weapons. He also likes making jokes about his faunus heritage and, to some extend, about the faunus heritage of others, but only if he knows they´re fine with that. His primary ways to solve a situation are either by discussing this professionally or by intimidating someone with his appearance. He´s got a snake tail, you know.
His semblance allows Argent to turn into fog, so he can get past doors without a problem, dodge attacks, stalk a specific target, and generally move from A to B without being noticed.
His weapons consist of two arm protectors on his lower arms, which can both extend a blade. The left weapon can also become a shield, while the right one can also become a chain whip. On his tail, he also has a mace he can collapse to gain a rattle of sorts.
He doesn´t really differ between humans and faunus when judging someone´s actions, meaning that if you´re mean, he´ll kindly ask you to stop being mean. If someone makes the mistake of attacking him, Argent can use his tail to grab this person. Rumor has it he once strangled a Big Ursa with it. Unlike the rumors revolving around the rest of his team members, this one´s true.
Talia Star is a mouse faunus, and the most energetic person you´ll find, except for Nora on an overdose of Red Bull. Easily distracted, naive, not carrying any weapon with her, and looking like a child in terms of body size, most people wouldn´t expect her to be a huntress. This, however, is just a facade Talia had built up due to her rather short body. The only thing faster than her actions is her brain, and if you´ve got a weak spot, you can be sure Talia has already found it. Jumping through the room like an over-energetic little child, Talia not only manages to dodge most attacks, but can also observe her opponent to figure out where and when to strike. She is a huge technology enthusiast, technology being the only thing to get her to sit still. After her big brother left Signal to attend Beacon, Talia quickly was moved ahead one year because the teachers at Signal couldn´t keep up with her energy.
If she wants, Talia can also display a more curious and naive side, usually adding an oblivious side as well. This allows her to stick around when people talk about top secret stuff, as they don´t expect the girl who just argued with a flower for the past half hour and now is in a staring contest with her reflection in a mirror to pay any attention to what they say.
Talia´s semblance allows her to turn into a ghost, which she either uses to escape a battle she knows she can´t win, to scout out an area without fear of being harmed, or to posess inanimate objects, such as technological devices. She usually posesses her scroll in order to zap around the CCTS, which is the most logical explaination as to why she can discuss history with Professor Oobleck, military strategy with General Ironwood and philosophy with Professor Ozpin. At the same time.
In battle, Talia can be quite a handful. Not only does she keep track of everything around her, thanks to her finely honed senses, but she also acts and reacts a lot faster than the average huntsman her age. In addition, she looks barely old enough to attend Signal Academy, so her combat skill catches most opponents off-guard when they fight her for the frst time. She knows how to put her mouse tail to good use, mostly using it to build leverage or block bullets. One time, she walked straight through a bandit camp, with half a dozen bandits shooting at her with mashine guns, and she managed to block every single bullet. Ok, she redirected them to hit other bullets, and so on, but still, don´t mess with her tech.
