Description

Name: Burgundy Celaeno

Name Origin: The color Burgundy and Celaeno, one of the Harpies Aeneas encountered at Strofades that gave him prophecies of his coming journeys.

Age: 17

Race: Grimm-morph.

Color Theme: Burgundy and silver.

Affiliation: Her team, Glynda Goodwitch.

Height: 5 foot, 10 inches.

Weight: 122 pounds.

Hair: Black with a white streak.

Eye color: Burgundy.

Symbol: A Burgundy bird foot. (I shows as blue on her armor because it’s an engraving)

Personality: Curious and outgoing, to the point of endangering herself at times. She can be overprotective, if she feels someone is making fun of one of her friends.

Semblance: Her semblance gives her control over gusts of wind in addition to her being able to fire her feathers at her targets.

Weapon: Burgundy's weapon is a 10 foot long whip. Known to her enemies as the Inclimate Flagellate. A weapon that punishes any who cross her or wrong anyone in her care. It's quite different from a normal whip. Burgundy modified hers with small blades, for some added punishment. These blades resemble thorns, which can be controlled by a few buttons on the handle. This allows her to release tension on any blade that may be caught in an enemy, or their armor. With the ability to have the blades lay flat, she's able to use her whip as a rope when she needs to restrain enemies. Then able to engage these blades for a deadly attack if her prey tries to escape. The Inclimate Flagellate is truly a weapon of supreme punishment, for one with a strong sense of justice and character.

Likes: Flying, reading, singing and learning new things.

Dislikes: Large storms, unknown entities, those who break the law and bird jokes.

Combat Role: Leader , support, offensive fighter.

Brief History: Burgundy was born into a family of rather well known warriors. Her grandparents where war heroes and her parents where hunters so it came as a major shock when her mother discovered Burgundy had changed into something that looked like a Grimm on her first birthday. Her parents where at a loss for words because she looked like a Grimm but was otherwise ok. Had they been cursed somehow? Her grandfather had a better answer. They had all killed many Grimm through their lives and this was nature’s way to see if they could raise one. In the end, it was decided whatever the reason for this change didn’t matter because this was their daughter and they would love her no matter what skin she was in. It was decided that Burgundy would be home schooled to avoid her getting treated as a monster, but this lead to her longing for the outside world. She loves to fly. Though this has brought its own problems, as she has come close to a large unidentified animal, that can’t be seen, but leaves a big shadow.  Burgundy was later able to identify the animal as a Thunderdevil. This animal specializes in killing Nevermore. The encounter has made her develop a phobia of both large storms and unknown entities. Over time, she began to despise when people make jokes about her waking up early to eat worms. For the longest time she had wanted to go to a combat school like her parents did. Despite their concern, she eventually wore them down. Her dream finally taken form, when she recieved a letter one day. It was Glynda Goodwitch, requesting aid on some unknown mission. The reward would be schooling of some kind. Her parents were skeptical at first but they knew who Glynda was, having met her before. They had reason to trust her. In the end they decided it was time for Burgundy to leave the roost and become a great hunter in her own rite.

Man, these Grimm-morph are quite awesome. However, there is one thing I noticed, which can get people upset or stuff: So far, I´ve only seen two of your Grimm-morph OCs, and both were easily accepted by those around them, despite looking like a Grimm.

Anyway, two of my OCs, Argent Star and Talia Star, were home-schooled at first, too. I mean, they were too young to attend a primary combat school or be left home alone, and the mayor of their village didn´t want their parents, Eis and Swara Star, to practice combat within the village. So, being the responcible parents they are, Eis and Swara Star taught their kids how to fight Grimm so they could join them on their training trips without their parents having to look out for them.

Argent Star is a snake faunus and leader of team ANST. He is usually a nice guy who prefers to solve his problems with words rather than weapons. He also likes making jokes about his faunus heritage and, to some extend, about the faunus heritage of others, but only if he knows they´re fine with that. His primary ways to solve a situation are either by discussing this professionally or by intimidating someone with his appearance. He´s got a snake tail, you know.
His semblance allows Argent to turn into fog, so he can get past doors without a problem, dodge attacks, stalk a specific target, and generally move from A to B without being noticed.
His weapons consist of two arm protectors on his lower arms, which can both extend a blade. The left weapon can also become a shield, while the right one can also become a chain whip. On his tail, he also has a mace he can collapse to gain a rattle of sorts.
He doesn´t really differ between humans and faunus when judging someone´s actions, meaning that if you´re mean, he´ll kindly ask you to stop being mean. If someone makes the mistake of attacking him, Argent can use his tail to grab this person. Rumor has it he once strangled a Big Ursa with it. Unlike the rumors revolving around the rest of his team members, this one´s true.

Talia Star is a mouse faunus, and the most energetic person you´ll find, except for Nora on an overdose of Red Bull. Easily distracted, naive, not carrying any weapon with her, and looking like a child in terms of body size, most people wouldn´t expect her to be a huntress. This, however, is just a facade Talia had built up due to her rather short body. The only thing faster than her actions is her brain, and if you´ve got a weak spot, you can be sure Talia has already found it. Jumping through the room like an over-energetic little child, Talia not only manages to dodge most attacks, but can also observe her opponent to figure out where and when to strike. She is a huge technology enthusiast, technology being the only thing to get her to sit still. After her big brother left Signal to attend Beacon, Talia quickly was moved ahead one year because the teachers at Signal couldn´t keep up with her energy.
If she wants, Talia can also display a more curious and naive side, usually adding an oblivious side as well. This allows her to stick around when people talk about top secret stuff, as they don´t expect the girl who just argued with a flower for the past half hour and now is in a staring contest with her reflection in a mirror to pay any attention to what they say.
Talia´s semblance allows her to turn into a ghost, which she either uses to escape a battle she knows she can´t win, to scout out an area without fear of being harmed, or to posess inanimate objects, such as technological devices. She usually posesses her scroll in order to zap around the CCTS, which is the most logical explaination as to why she can discuss history with Professor Oobleck, military strategy with General Ironwood and philosophy with Professor Ozpin. At the same time.
In battle, Talia can be quite a handful. Not only does she keep track of everything around her, thanks to her finely honed senses, but she also acts and reacts a lot faster than the average huntsman her age. In addition, she looks barely old enough to attend Signal Academy, so her combat skill catches most opponents off-guard when they fight her for the frst time. She knows how to put her mouse tail to good use, mostly using it to build leverage or block bullets. One time, she walked straight through a bandit camp, with half a dozen bandits shooting at her with mashine guns, and she managed to block every single bullet. Ok, she redirected them to hit other bullets, and so on, but still, don´t mess with her tech.

They weren't accepted right of the bat and I have another on the way that shows how bad it can get for a Grimm-morph. These two where just lucky to be surrounded by good people, most aren't that lucky.
