So I'm back ladies and gentlemen. Hope you guys have been doing well since my hiatus. I was helping my family business get into a better situation and so far it has worked out beautifully. Anyway enough about me, here is Pikachu again.

    So I've been wanting to do another one of Pikachu for a while but I wasn't really sure where to go with it. I tend to like to do something different each time I do a piece, even if the content is the same I still will try to re angle them or repose them or something like that. So what's different here?... Uh... the gag? Yeah I pretty much just wanted to hogtie Pikachu again is pretty much what this boiled down to. Pikachu has an odd anatomy though, I found I can't really restrain it the way I'd like to. So I took a few liberties, making his torso and limbs a bit longer, stuff like that so this was easier to do.
    I also decided to spend a bit more time on the shading work for this one. Typically you want to shade something with a darker (or grayer) tone of the same color and allow the image to gradually get darker or lighter. I've been well aware of this... but I'm lazy sometimes. So a lot of the time I just shade with straight black or white since it's faster. That works ok but it gives the picture a shiny, metallic sort of look (It also adds makes them look dirty if black and white mix) which a lot of my images tend to have. I was fine with that but for this one I decided to play with the concept of gradually shading on Pikachu to give him a more natural look and use the shiny black and white technique on the background to get a shiny metal ground and wall. I think it was effective.

    Story for this one?... Well I'm out of practice with this but lets try for it anyway. Just a heads up I don’t watch the anime that much so it might be inaccurate (I predominantly follow the video and card game)

   Jessie, James, and Meowth had spent years trying to capture the little yellow brat, though none of them aged at all oddly enough, nor did he for that matter. There was a strange joy in the sight they beheld. Pikachu was in the back of the balloon, laying on his stomach. His forepaws had been taped together behind his back and his legs were also taped up the same way. It was a thick electrical tape that stretched as he pulled at his limbs but it wouldn‘t release them. His bound paws were then wrapped with a cold piece of metal wiring, it wrapped tightly about his forearms and wrists ensuring he couldn’t move his arms. His legs were also wrapped with it, the metal wire holding his feet and ankles firmly together. The wire was connected between the arms and legs holding Pikachu’s limbs in a firm hogtie position. Electrical current flowed through the restraints but it didn’t do anything to help. He pulled and squirmed at them but it was no use, they had finally got him.
   Pikachu whined at them, “Pika, Chouwou!!!” He was very unhappy about the situation. his emotions swirled into various states, anger they’d bind him like this, misery for aching wrists and ankles, worry as he didn’t know what was going to happen after they got back, etc. They grew bored of watching him trying to get free and turned their attention to the direction the balloon was going. Pikachu continued to whine out “Pik!”
   “He’s getting on my nervs, give me the rest of that tape.” Jessie muttered. She was handed it and placed a large piece of it over his mouth to silence him.
   “Prmmmchrrew” Pikachu mumbled from under the gag. The flight was long but they eventually got there. Pikachu was carried into a special base, they had rubber gloves on, so his only defense did nothing. They brought into a small storage room and placed Pikachu there. He pulled and squirmed in hopes to pull free but it still didn‘t work. His captors left to find an Rocket admin to evaluate the capture. Pikachu nervously looked back at his tightly bound limbs trying to figure out some way to escape before they got back. After a few moments of struggling and peering about the room for something to free himself with. He found no solutions, Pikachu figured the only thing he could do at this point was to wait for somebody to come back and hope it was somebody he wanted to come through the door. He was awfully sore from being tied up in that position for so long so he was hopeful he wouldn't have to remain bound much longer.
