I love Lanna sooo much! Your color schemes are always brilliant (even if they are done digitally sometimes)! Such a pretty lady.

haha thanks, sometimes I like to use digital too, and I practice it sometimes in order to not forget the basics about layers and that stuff that I learned long time ago
Thank you so much!

You're welcome.

Is there actually any work you drew entirely digital? I'm just curious. I really love that you stick at traditional drawing (in my opinion it's more difficult than digital working because you hardly can erase mistakes), but I also love the effects you sometimes add to your sketches and it makes me wonder if by any chance you every did a drawing completely in photoshop or any other programm. Lines, coloration or even just the sketch.

Just once... and never again! u-u I remember that it was done entirely with the DA muro application. It was a Lanna headshot drawing, but it looked so horrible that one day while I was looking the old pieces in my gallery I decided to delete it! Believe me, it was painful to look at! xD
I searched it in order to show you, is not in my gallery anymore but then I searched in my ''old drawing'' folder and there it was! sta.sh/0149gnqq0tdt it´s entirely drawn with the mouse
it´s a bit embarrasing but well, everybody has some shameful drawings from the past
Yeah, I belong to traditional, I enjoy digital art sometimes and all the things you can do with only an art software, but I always end up finding traditional more pleasurable, I can´t stand being to much hours in from of the screen without my eyes burning and my back aching :S and I don´t know how to expain, but tradtional has something addicting to me
Mostly of my digital pieces are only digital colored, the sketch or the lineart is always traditional! Drawing with mouse...I´ve seen a few people who do it perfectly, so admirable! I find drawing with mouse really hard (my pulse to do the lines is very bad), I tried, but only that drawing of Lanna was finished and even (OMG, I can´t believe it!) posted on the internet!

Aside from the fact that drawing with a mouse must be pretty difficult (I have a tablet and I cannot imagine that someone can draw with a mouse o.O), I think that the colors are great; eyes, skin and lips look pretty good with regard to the effects.

But I know what you mean by finding traditional art more pleasurable. My neck always hurts awefully when I'm coloring for some hours at a stretch. But then again my traditional line strokes are pretty shaky. However, I love traditional art pretty much. You have something "real" in your hand and in my oppinion it's a shame that our society becomes more digital and digital (books -> ebooks, magazines -> emagazines, letters -> emails etc. etc.).

yep, from that time I searched some tutorials and tried a bit but... it´s really really hard 0.o
One, day I will buy a cheap tablet to start learning a bit
I feel you, in my opinion it´s a pity to see how most of the people move from traditional to digital and they never come back to traditional again
I love and respect both types but sometimes I feel like trad is a bit underrated (or less people like to work with it, so Ifindso much lees traditional artist than digital ones), but like I said, mybe it´s just me :I

Yeah, maybe it is a bit. For me, I realized that digital working is much easier but I have my Copics lying around here and also my watercolors and color pencils and well, I do nothing with them. Sadly. Maybe I'm just too lazy to work on my skills. >_<

Don´t worry, most of the times I color digital is because I get to lazy to do a lineart but I want to color the piece so badly I´m a lazy ass! xD
Use that Copics, water colors and color pencils! It´s a pity that you don´t use them! I don´t know how watercolor works, I´m so bad, but Copics seems complicated at first but I think that you get used to it faster than other mediums! just gotta try!
