Hi everyone
I watched Steven Universe last year for first time and was firstly very disappointed of the show.
It have its own slow pacing and it took a while to get in the right mood for it.
So mea culpa for ma negative first meaning about. We just revisited it at December together and
fall in love for the show and the character. The Idea behind the fusions and them gems are deep and
interesting. The show have a bigger story around and not just some random cartoon episodes. And I'm
very interested to see where that leads to.
Next week there is valentine. And I think no one fits better then Garnet for. The is the perfect fusion.
And so lovely. She is ma fav. of the whole series. So here we are :3
Im very curious of feedback from all of you.
Should I make some more Universe Artworks? Rose for example with her never ending hair.
Would be great. Even Im not very good by drawing person ^^" But hey practice!
So tell me!
Ps.: ...To stop that bullshit around the inspiration I show you the two pics I use
from the series. Its unbelievable sad to call me a thief. I have too much great watchers
and I don't wanna loose their/your trust. But hey internet! You know :3

I love this a lot!! the colors pop out at me and the highlights are quite amazing! I also like the way that you drew her hair, it's so poofy and I love it.
improvement-
I see that some places could use some improvement, for example, Garnet's fingers are a little short, the neck is a little too thin, and the gems on her hands seem to appear flat, as if the gems were tattooed onto her hands rather than being actually placed there. it seems a little inconvenient too, that the gems would be placed there lmao
anyways, I still see this as a great piece and overall very lovely. keep up the good work!!

This is just beautiful.
Colors-
Wonderful. Catch the eye of the viewer and express the emotions of both ruby and sapphire. I also enjoy the comic-style shading!
Expressions:
Very good!
I can tell by garnet, ruby, and sapphire's expressions that they are exhilarated and happy- And it gives the viewer these feelings!
anatomy-
for the most part, good. Something about garnet's fingers looks a bit off, though. I really can't figure out what it is. they look kind of like if she tried to move them, they'd just flop over.
Originality:i haven't really seen anything like this. Nice work.

I agree that the show is a bit of a chore to get through at the start. But by the half-way mark of Season 1, I was hooked. The character and story development is sublime and the characters show new and interesting sides to themselves all the time. It really is interesting looking back at those earlier episodes with the knowledge we have now about the gems, Homeworld, and their pasts.

You are not alone with the disappointment. The first few episodes where just painful to watch for me too. Luckily enough I had nothing else to do, and then it got better and better! Especially Steven war really annoying with his cookie cat song... Sheesh. The Characters developed quickly!

Yeah, as far as Steven Universe goes I've heard it takes at the very least getting through the first 11 episodes before the good stuff kicks in. That's what I've heard and have personally experienced for myself.

Its good to watch it as a whole bundle from start. But its hard to find it in germany. There are no dvd or complete itunes lib or something -.-"

Steven universe really did travel a long way, we went from a kid singing about ice cream cookies to fusions, other planets, wars, love, etc. I'm proud

I do agree, the show was very slow at the start. I guess they wanted to keep things simple while people got used to the basic concepts, especially for a show aimed at kids. But when it finally got into the meat of the story and lore, and deeper into the characters, it got so much better! I've been in love with it ever since.
If you feel like making more, I say go for it! It would definitely be great practice for drawing humanoid characters too!

The subject was predictable. So this painting was not shocking.
But this painting is perfect for Garnet!
The picture on the glasses looks good.
It is almost the same as the appearance of an existing character.
Character pose is similar to the original.

I just can say how it is. Its not a very creative idea. And Im not the only one who came on.
I never traced or stole something. With that amount of watchers it would be sure ma death.
So believe it or not. I took some ref directly from some episodes to archiev that picture. And
thats the whole thing. Its just simple to spam negative things about other and ignore the artwork it self
the time the artist spend and so on. Its just the time we live in. Everbody have a big mouth in the inet.
