U know what ending I was expecting while playing the game? Avan and Cosette get married years later and stayed together with Aliasse.

Oh and one thing. I heard Welkin and Alicia's squad will be fighting with Kurt's squad. Maybe this is during the two years after Maximillian is defeated

It's not a prequel! It takes place the same time as Valkyria Chronicles. That's why it's called Unrecorded Chronicles, as the Nameless Squad is a division of the Gallian Army that are like... I guess sort of misfits in a way. Not that they're bad of course, just that they're looked down upon.
But oh god, I played the demo and it got me so excited for the game! So tempted to import.

The timeline is correct. In the timeline is during the battles of Squad 7, and rumors are that there will be unlockable familiar characters but the questions are, WHO?
