Remember, "Those who wait on The Lord shall renew their strength...".Even if you are weak in the scriptures, have little faith or what have you, if you just know how to observe the be the best observer unto God. God has a purpose and a plan for everyone of his children

Yep! For me, it's to deliver mail at the Post Office. The Lord has used that place to get rid of some of my bad habits, to burn video games, anime and TV out of me; to open my eyes to other people's live's and to test my patience, a lot of my patience.
I'm just now 'waking up' to actually seeing other people, saved or unsaved. I see their eye colors now, I see the habits they may or may not have, I see what they do that hurts themselves or what set's them free from things (or what they think will set themselves free but is a different 'prison'). I know I'm not allowed to 'correct' right now but here and there I throw out a tidbit.
I agree; my work is a bit different but it is still there and I encourage everyone to keep up the good work as well!!

yeah i know what you mean. I struggle with being humble and patient and prideful,
i wanted to be in a place where i could do "great " things for God like preach and lead congregations and part red seas and walk on water ect,
i would look at duties such as ushering, taking up collection, and shoveling dog poop from the front of my church as demeaning and unimportant.
Even last night i watched an anmie ( i havent watched anime in a loooooooong time) so i did so and it was good and the ending wasn't good and it ruined my entire mood i felt miserable ,i still don't remember how i went to sleep last night . I was so shocked that to find out that i unknowingly gave my heart to the show, i was seeking it's entertainment and fulfillment from that and not from God and his word, even though i knew it was fake and just a story i somewhat felt angry at the ending i don't know why.
Thats why we must keep our hearts with all diligence,
I'm glad that God burned those things out of you, i went down the same road before i was saved, i would jump from story to story and my sense of reality was demented and i was tormented by false truths thinking life was supposed to be like a manga, even though i acted like everyone else my morals were messed up ( looking back i laugh at how i allowed books to do such a thing )
You're correct, since we have this light within us because of God we can see our habits and know what to focus on and what to kick (praise God)
those blinded by the world think it's normal
for instance if a woman would walk by, i could predict what would happen. next so i would look at any male near by and they would watch her as she walks . i think to my self that they are only damaging their spirit by lust thinking that it's "only natural " to lust after a woman's body
God really does make the difference and i really am glad to hear that testimony friend, it really lifted me. just by reading it i kicked a habit i had

Yeah I struggle with fear and trust the most. That's a story for a different day.
Well the job of delivering mail is very ungrateful job. But I've learned a lot. So no matter how small and unimportant your job feels to do, just do it, you will see the reward of it later on and might even enjoy it. BTW, you will never be above those jobs.
I'm sorry. That's why I had to quit too. Anime teaches a lot of other bad things. The one good thing it does try to teach is to not watch it, and to not be prejudice.
Me too. I'm glad God saved me from those things. There's a few more things that I have a hard time with right now but I didn't learn those things from anime and games. Those things are why I played games. God will save me from those things too. I'm so happy I helped you!! Amen! I need your prayers too!

Keep up the good work, just know it is never going unnoticed. Someone sees, God always sees and sometimes others will see what you do and thank you too.

exactly, i had to quit the ones with the perverse jokes and female charcters, there's only a handful that are watchable with clean comedy.
It's all by God's grace friend, and he will deliver you with his mighty right arm, there's nothing to hard or small for our Father.
