I am a very huge fan of Michael Turner. The very first time I saw his work, I immediately acknowledged his awesomeness. For years, I idolized his work, tried to imitate his style, and practiced as I used his portfolio as my references. Then one day, I was devastated by his death. He was a great artist among many great artists, and the comic world obtained a huge downfall when he passed away. So, in remembering his artistry, his passion for the comics, and his magnificent detail in his works, I present to all of you my colored version of his cover of Superman/Batman.

Peter Steigerwald was the original colorist of this piece, and I tried to also imitate his coloring style while adding my own flavor to it.

As you can see, the major detail that I have changed is the background. Instead of creating a blurred out image of a skyscraper or the lights of the buildings in the city, I decided to make use of falling comets and meteors as the visible entity behind our two great superheroes. I did this in reference to the story that comes along in this very comic series.

This is the VERY FIRST time I have colored a whole piece by using my own artistic techniques and step by step manner.
