Description A counterpart to the 'Evolution of the Daleks', found here: [link] I allowed their Cybermen enemies to also have a bit of a timeline. I suspect it will continue to "upgrade" as time goes on.

Though it's ironic because the Cybermen design -has- changed ever since they first appeared in 'Tenth Planet,' as better and better costumes were found for the actors.

I've always preferred the Series 2 look way more then the Series 7 style.

Agreed.Β  Abilities too.Β  Series 2 had to be clever as well as unstoppable and menacing.Β Β The new onesΒ have just become Borg.

There's a decent episode concept in here. A human tyrant makes a deal with cybermen, offering up dissidents against their rule for conversion in exchange for being able to use a few of the resulting cyborgs as an untiring, uncomplaining slave labor force incapable of even thinking of rebellion. Vibes of the Soviet Humanzee .

The twist is, this time, the cybermen have no intention of breaking their end of the bargain and forcibly upgrading their former ally since it's been going so well for them having large numbers of victims delivered in exchange for a bit of menial labor rather than having to go and try to hunt them down personally.

Sometimes Doctor Who is scariest when the real monsters are human.

Oh, the cybermen quite possibly one of the scariest species of being in all of Dr. Who history, second only to the Dalecks. And when I say that it's not because of their looks but because of what they do, especially in recent years.

Promus-Kaa deserves credit for that one. And I think it was mostly inspired by the Nazi-Dalek counterpart he made for it.
