Hey there guys, it's that time again for some new artwork! Continuing on with my tribute art for Spyro the Dragon is the beautiful faun, Elora.
Like I said, I've never played Ripto's Rage but I remember seeing this girl a lot and always thought she had a cool design. So even though I have never played the game, I felt it would be fun to try drawing her. Very interesting to say the least. I enjoyed the drawing. It's too bad they didn't keep her around for Year of the Dragon, she would have been great... Anyway, I hope you all like how she turned ou int my style.

You are right; it's just the tail and ears that throws the whole image off. She's still lovely.

Yeah, I'm not sure if that was intentional or not in the original design because they made the tail shorter and more deer-like in her remade design.

As it should be. In this image she looks more like a fox-taur. Think I've seen her on Rule34.xxx. Could be mistaken. As I've said before, she's still lovely.

No seriously, I used to have a serious problem drawing heads too big and this one is a good example of that xD

That is true. I remember reading something about the height of the figure is based on how many heads tall it is. Maybe shrink it down by maybe a fourth and it will fit the rest of the figure. Just my take.

I actually did try to play it on an emulator once but I really didn't like how it ran on it so I gave up. -_- I did buy the game off of ebay last year but it didn't work (scratched) but I do vow to get it some day. Maybe sometime in fall because I really want to play it.

Haha! Elora's awesome and you certainly did her justice! It's kind of nice to see her represented in something other than rough PS graphic polygons XD
Ripto's Rage was probably my favourite Spyro game, though it certainly was a close one between that and Year Of The Dragon C:
