Hooray! So glad I got to buy a very nice print of this piece at BabsCon 2019! (Even more glad that I finally managed to remember the artist's name, which I stoopidly forgot to write down at the time!)
It's a cool/fun piece anyway, and think Tempest would get along great with those other 2. (After all, they all 3 have in common a past that they're sorry for.) I still think it'd be so cool if all 3 were to get together on the actual show.
btw: If you're thinking of ideas to do for next year's BabsCon (assuming there will be one), then how's this? A group-shot of 3 real villains! I'm talking the real serious baddies here! Queen Chrysalis (of course!), King Sombra & Tirek (or some other 3rd arch-villain), all commiserating over their "ignominious defeat at the hooves of those cursed ponies!"

I would absolutely love it if those 3 could ever get together in the show, I think they'd get along, too! They were all saved by Twilight, after all. I think they'd have a lot of gossip to tell.
I do like your idea for next year's print! I prefer to draw female characters, but there weren't that many female villains in the show that weren't reformed, haha. But I think it's a great idea, if I can't think of anything else, I'll do it!

You know, I've been wondering that myself! I've been wishing Tempest would make an appearance on the show ever since the movie came out (and is one of the multitude of reasons I found S8 such a disappointment.) I guess the only thing they could do would be to hold auditions & just pick the one who can most closely match Blunt's quality. It won't be perfect (obviously) but it'd be better than nothing. (That is, of course, if they even bring Tempest into the show in the first place. Ten to one they won't.)

This is adorable. It gives me the idea for a story, too. It starts out Trix and Glim on the road. They run into Fizzle/Tempest. Glim befriends her, Trix gets jealous, tries to prove she's the better friend. Eventually all learn everypony has unique things about them that add to friendships, realize it's what makes the mane 6 work so well.
