Description
When the Battlestar Galactica finally reaches Earth, I always it would be fun if it wasn't the Earth of 1980, but instead was the Earth of Captain Kirk and the United Federation of Planets. That way, when the Cylons finally arrived to wipe out the rest of humanity, they Federation could team up with the Galactica and finally have it out with the Cylons. I don't know exactly how that story would go, but it would sure be fun to watch!Related content

Yeah, I used to have that model too. I gave it to a friend who was moving away. Then, years later, I bought another one and built it all over again.
There is so much detail in this model that it takes up quite a bit of memory. Then it occurred to me that most of this model it repetitive. There is a a single "pie slice" that gets repeated 5 times to make up the top disc, and then it is essentially repeated 5 more times on the bottom disc (with a different central hub on the top and bottom.) So I ended up just saving that single pie slice (and hubs) to reduce the file size to about 1/10 of what it would otherwise be.

Only a true fan could look at an image of a hulking Cylon war machine, and come up with the words "beautiful" and "art" to describe it. For what it's worth, I'm right there with you!
