Description
This wong was something I wanted to do for a while out of two things-1. A follow up of sorts to fav.me/d6bj5xg , and a moment of my OCs, Derrick and Scythe Mana doing a little sparring of their own.
2. Attempting something of a close up shot. Once the first objective hit my mind, this followed right after.
While the two brothers are going at it, we see working the heavy bag, and doing a little observation.... since he's looking to fight Derrick in the future..
This one took a while to set up, but it was worth the experimentation, I'd say.

Yep.. Most of the time, it happens on account of a little squabble or two- sometimes, even a photoshoot starting as a childish prank might end with an impromptu spar.Β But this time, strictly practice as you said.

Me: Would you rather that it'd be people you don't like?Β Relax- it's not like they're going to destroy you.. but if you can't feel free to use the equipment- if nothing else, a little training might help .

Bertrand: Oui. Say, it looks like Derrick-nii and Scythe-nii are having a good round.

They certain are. Nice to seem them have at it without any pretext of settling little squabbles...Β siblings can be like that.., though both being boxers doesn't help, much..

Bertrand: I see. So, what are you going to train me about? *Looking with a gleam in his eyes*

That depends. Where would you like to begin?

Okay. Get some wraps on and a good pair of gloves on.Β Then we'll get started.

Bertrand: Oui *He wrapped his hands with bandages and put on a pair of green gloves, his favourite colour. Then, he met Raven at one of the heavy bags*

*holds the bag to keep it from moving*Β When you're ready, start punching.

Bertrand: Oui *He took a fighting stance and began dancing on his toes. He twisted his upper body to deliver a right hook. Then, he followed by a left hook.*Β

* feels minor force form the punches* Good. Let's see a few jabs..

Bertrand: Hm! Hmh! Hmh! *Threw a barrage of left and right jabs at the bag. Each making a loud slapping sound upon impacts* (Anyway, gotta go! We'll continue later ^^)

Not bad. Remember in a match that good jabsΒ keep your opponent at bayΒ or set up a good combo.

Bertrand: Oui. *Still has his gloves up his chin. Then, he fired a combination of left and right hooks, creating loud booming sounds as they impact*Β

Bertrand: Hah...hah...*He punished the bag, striking it with a combination of hooks and uppercuts* Wow, this is fun training with all of you. You know what it's like when I train with Isabelle.

Me: I don't know, but given her ... disposition, I'd sayΒ something like working under a sadistic drillΒ sargeant?

Bertrand: Oui, like that. Sometimes, I feel she only train me because Gael told her so. I really need to show her that I can change into an awesome boxer. *Stops punching the bag.*

Me: She seems pretty antisocial- one time Scythe asked if she would want to spar... and she called him and Derrick worthless..Β I get she's social stunted, but insulting other people's friends out of the blue.... that's gotta stop..

Bertrand: I don't know what made her like that. There must be a reason about it. Anyway, what's next?

Me: What would you want to do?

Bertrand: Ah, I think I want to try sparring. *Sheepishly*

Me: .. All right.Β Before we get started, though, let's get youΒ some headgear. Then we'll see about finding a spot to do it, as Derrick and Scythe are still using this ring.

Bertrand: Oui, but does it mean we'll do it without a ring?

I think there's a makeshift one in the basement we canΒ use.

Bertrand: Wow, really? Let's get to that place, then!

Me: All right. I found some headgear, so help yourself to one you like. I already found some mouth guards to use.

Bertrand: *Puts on the mouthguard and the headgear. Once done, he and Raven met at the center* Well, don't go too easy on me. If there's anything wrong with my posture or anything, please comment.

Me:Β *puts on headgear and mouthguard* All right. Don't get complacent, though. I might throw a few hard ones when you least suspect it.

Bertrand: Alright. *Touched gloves. Then, they returned to the corners, waiting for the bell to ring.*
DING!
Bertrand shuffled out of the ring and met Raven at the center, guard up. He fired a right jab at his body.

*Β Β I meet Bertrand in the center, guard raised, IΒ lower my left glove toΒ block the right jab, then throwΒ a right jab of my own at Bertrand's face*

Bertrand parried the punch and countered with two left jabs and a right hook to the sides.

*I feel the left jabsΒ hit my side, but not too much, I parry the right hook and throw a left uppercut to Bertrand's chin*

*Bertrand was aware of the uppercut. He hopped backwards before closing in to Raven with lightning speed. He sent in a left straight to his abs* Hmh!

Me: * the straight connects, forcing a slight grunt out of me*Β Not bad. * I throw two right jabs at Bertrand's head, feint a third, then throw a fast left hook to his head*

Bertrand parried the two jabs. He fell for the feint which made him to weave and crashed into a hook at his cheek* Ngh.. *He returned with a right uppercut to the abs and a left hook* Hmh! Yaah!
