An unexpected work that had its roots no more than a few days ago:____
The basic gist is 'business as usual' at the gym: Scythe's giving Ace a hand, and I'm sparring with Derrick. Watching silently, Griff is checking out the extent of everyone's fighting abilities via his scouter... when he get taken by surprise: Rosa plants a kiss on him from the side. Both sporting faces beet red.
The scene happening is rather unexpected, so the onlookers stop to see it unfolding- Over at ringside, Derrick has me cornered and stood ready for an offensive volley... when his eyes see this scene of romance happeneing- Me, having notice a bit of delay on his part, I fire a hard left cross into his face, unaware of Rosa's surprise attack..

The scene started off as just a training bit at the gym, but seeing the idea of Rosa taking initiative and a surprised Griff spurred progress on this thing- I put in the bit with Scythe and Ace since I was considering something to this effect.. and I doubt they saw this coming, as well... Derrick, though... he's not enjoying himself, at the moment.
This was a fun work from start to finish, and I was pleased to see it came out as well as I saw it in my mind.
