well, in fact, that's what those new (cheap) film scanner do - photograph. So, I only borrowed this idea

What's what film scanners do? I'm talking about the spacer ring (I don't know what that is) in order to make it look like a Holga (assuming that's how you got the edge blur).

When you said "interesting technique" I thought you meant my way of scanning my negatives by simply taking a photo of them.
When I was looking for a film scanner capable of scanning mid-format films as well, I stumbled over a user comment which mentioned that his scanner had an optical unit similar to a camera. That was my inspiration to try this out by sticking a white piece of plastic bag onto a window, waiting for the sun to shine and take macro shots of them.

I googled and found out, that the correct english term for spacer ring actually is extension tube! So, shame on me
The photos were taken with a real Holga 120 GFN - so, no Photoshop hocus pocus involved!
