no way. there's no way Lance's real dad wouldn't know what was going on with the Mantis armor- after all, he designed it. There's also no way he wouldn't recognize the princess or torture his own son. Now the guy who was mad at solomon for disobeying a direct order and stayed in the shadows at the end of season 1, THAT was his dad.
Think about it: solomon doesn't have the right personality or tells, so he doesn't fit, G3 got that Galalunian tech SOMEwhere, the guy ordered them to NOT hurt Lance and the others or something to that effect when any normal person would have done something, and his dad must have suffered SOME kind of damage when he went through the rift gate, which would explian why he was with all that equipment and stuck in that chair.
Either way I want to see Lance's dad soon!

Didn't you remember? I thought I mentioned this before, but at the end of season one Solomon was somewhere in G3 talking to a guy in the shadows and the guy was mad at Solomon for disoboying orders. We're not sure, what those orders are, but we can be sure they had somethign to do with kidnapping Lance and the gang. He seemed upset about them kidnapping them, but Solomon was just like "whatevs".

I know what you mean. The writiers just LOVE jerking the fanbase's emotions around. I don't care what they do, I just want them to talk about his dad soon. I heard the next episode is about Solomon, so we'll probably get more on that. Yay!

Solomon did not react as a father would to seeing Lance.
Solomon was unaware of the origins of both Lance and the Technology he used.
Solomon did not react to seeing Illana(the daughter to one of two of Edward's closest personal friends).
If Solomon was Lance's father there would be no need for him to capture and trick them into revealing themselves.
Solomon is named Solomon, not Edward.
Lance's father is named Edward, not Solomon.
Solomon's boss is wearing a Galalunian Uniform and has a robotic hand that is(clearly) directly derived from the Manus Armor.
Therefore, Solomon's boss is Lances father.

soloman knows gallalunian fighting techniques
he would not recognize either of them since they are so much older than when he first saw them
he captured them because he wanted to know if they were gallalunian

Solomon knows Galalunian fighting techniques becuase Solomon's boss(Edward) trained him.
Lance's and Illana's appearence has not changed much over the years.
And a loving father will recognize his son no matter the time that has past.
Solomon already knows they are aliens, but no evidence has been presented that he even knows specificly about Galalunian's.

Incorrect. Solomon knew from the begining they were aliens.
He knew this becuase he captured their spaceship in episode 1.
Combined with collaborating evidence via security cameras and other sources of media, there is no way he could not have known.
