Pidgeotto.Watercolor paper still had some wrinkles, but I feel like this was a little better.

I was trying to compare all of the brands but this one won me over because they have the individual colors as well so I should be able to replace as I go. They also have good reviews so I figure for the seven dollar difference between this and the other brand I was looking at I would rather have the forty extra colors, especially since I am a not a professional artist. I have read a few books on color theory and such, but I am pretty much learning through experience as I go.

Blick (well... FedEx) is usually quite speedy on the shipping. But waiting and worrying suck, don't they? Even if most people probably wouldn't steal art supplies, they're valuable! :< I wouldn't want it sitting out all day, either.

Today's labor day? I thought that wasn't until later in the year? It seems like Fedex isn't great with telling you if something is out for delivery, so things can come sooner than expected, though my ETA is July 7

Oh, you're right, I have the wrong holiday. XD But I do believe something is up today. Lots of places seem to be closed and today's crew at work was volunteer (I'm dragged along whether I like it or not since it's a family business).

Yeah I have off work. I think it is because most places are required to have the 4th as a holiday, but it fell on sunday so monday is being treated as the day off.
