This picture was inspired by a set of gifs i saw pop up on Tumblr recently. They featured this adorable retro anime called Yadamon, abou this odd little green haired girl who ends up living with a boy and his scientist parents on an animal sanctuary island. Yadamon is a quirky little magical girl, and her most exciting feature is her hair which can transform into butterfly wings. I just loved this character design so much I had to try drawing her
